Oaklin is an imaginative studio tucked away in the historic city of Helena, Montana. We are passionate about life and seek every opportunity to invent, innovate and express, which is the best part of being human. We're storytellers and dreamers. Founder & Creative Director
An American raised abroad, Onawa earned her BFA in Graphic Design from Montana State University in 2004. After graduating, she focused on working within the corporate world of print design and web/software development. In the fall of 2010, Onawa moved to Rwanda, Africa with a nonprofit organization. She worked as a business consultant, directed an international fitness program, and volunteered extensively. In 2016, Montana called Onawa back home and she opened her creative agency, Oaklin Creative.
As founder and creative director of Oaklin Creative, Onawa loves working with clients to inspire and share beautiful stories. In her down time, Onawa loves to paint, snowboard, travel and fancies herself a genuine friend, a fabulous mother and lovesick wife.
Mercedes is our Media Strategist extraordinaire. She is a detail-driven perfectionist that brings imaginative ideas and effective marketing strategies to the table for each client she meets.
Mercedes has a background in social work, policy, and grassroots organizing. Mercedes has helped nonprofits gain confidence with their marketing and ads through strategy, brand development and implementation.
When Mercedes is not in the Oaklin Office, she is probably hosting a dinner party, hiking with her pup, crafting, or on the golf course.
Suzanne retired from her career as Package Operations Supervisor 2018, from UPS, after 29 years of fun with the Teamsters.. She attended Uof M- Helena and received her certificate in Computer Technologies while still working at UPS.
Suzanne brings her bossy-tude and truck driver vocabulary to Oaklin trying to keep us balanced and on budget. She and her Husband, Gary, have lived in Helena since childhood and have 2 grown sons, who are off on adventures of their own. They have one Granddaughter and are anxiously awaiting the arrival of a another.
Suzanne loves to spend time with her large family, camping, hiking, 4-wheeling, motorcycle riding, boating, snowmobiling, fishing and traveling around this beautiful state are her favorites.
Peri Dropping is an uprooted Seattlite who found her second home in Helena. Attending Carroll College, she studies Communication and Public Relations with concentrations in Digital Media Design and Marketing, as well as a minor in Social Media. Peri has a working background in social media strategy and graphic design.
If she's not in the office, you can find Peri planning her next travel adventure, hitting the slopes, or competing with Carroll College's debate team. She's psyched to be working with a team of such bright and inspiring women.
